GENERAL NOTE

1Tenderers are advised to visit the site of work with prior permission of Engineer-in-charge/authorised representative, to aquaint themselves with the nature and location of work before quoting tender.
2Penal recovery for not carrying out work / improper work / delay shall be done at the quoted rate for each item of work.
3 The contractor shall provide Uniforms to his workers as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. All the workers must wear the same while on duty.
4The contractor shall ensure that at all times the persons appointed by him to serve in the premises are physically fit and free from any disease, injury or illness; contagious (or) otherwise , in order to ensure that a healthy, hegienic and clean services are maintained.
5 The contractor's employees shall be liable to be checked by the departmental Security Force and shall have to strictly observe the directions relating, wearing of identification badges etc. All as per departmental security regulations.
6If the department is not satisfied with the service or conduct of any of the workers / employees of the contractor for any reason, whatsoever, the contractor shall have to remove such employees from the premises immediately once inform to him.
7No employee of the contractor shall be allowed to stay in the premises beyond the authorised working hours.
8The tenderer shall quote after taking into account, the number of rooms, common areas, surrounding areas of the building etc. After visiting the side and ascertaining the site conditions.
9The rates quoted by the contractor should be inclusive of all sort of materials required to carry out the complete sweeping and cleaning job including providing all safety measures to the labours such as hand gloves, mask etc.
10Adequate equipment such as hand carts, baskets, buckets, plastic drums (bigger size), moppers, brooms (soft & hard), ropes, dusters etc. Required for the cosmetic maintenance shall be provided by the contractor and his rates quoted shall be inclusive the cost all of such requirements.
11Contractor shall take contractor's all risk insurance policy in respect of entire scope of work for entire period of contract and submit copy of the same before commencement of the work. "If there is a gap in CAR insurance policy period a penalty of 1.5 times of the premium amount of original policy value shall be recovered, proportionately for the gap period"
12Security Guard shall open the Anuvan (Urban Forest) at 6.00 AM & shall close the same by 6.00 PM in the evening on daily basis.
13The contractor shall employ generally 07 cosmetic workers or more as required to carry out all the items of woks as per specification with supervisor of the contractor. He/she attains the age of 60 years and till He/she is medically fit for the assigned work. Engagement beyond this can be permitted only if prevalent labour laws & regulations as detailed in GCC permits for the same.
