GENERAL NOTE

Tender Inviting Authority:

A) Tenderers are advised to visit the site of work with prior permission of Engineer-in-charge/authorised representative, to acquaint themselves with the nature and location of work before quoting tender.
b) Since the work is to be carried out in residential buildings which are occupied by officials of department, the work has to be carried out with least disturbance to the residents.
c) All safety & security regulations shall be followed strictly as per specifications & conditions of contract.
d) The contractor shall arrange to provide the service on Saturday, Sunday and other holidays in case of emergency as required by Engineer- in- Charge.
e) All breakdown calls/ complaints received during normal working hours as well as after working hours should be attended to, at the shortest possible time.
f) The contractor shall issue I-Card to their workers deployed on regular basis. The contractor shall provide a sleeveless Jacket to the workers in pattern, colour showing name of contractor with address and telephone number as approved by the Engineer- in- Charge. All the workers must wear the same while on duty.
g) The contractor shall provide periodical report stating the nature of complaints/ work done to the Engineer- in- Charge or authorized representative daily in the format.
h) The contractor shall provide & maintain triplicate book for receiving the job complaint order from Engineer- in- Charge daily in the approved format.
i) No debris shall be left over during the repair works under each item on any day. An area for 'Debris bins' will be identified on the request of contractor for collection of debris generated on day to day basis. The Debris from debris bin shall be cleared every month. The contractor must maintain adequate number of wheel barrows all the time for shifting the debris to/from Debris bin. Debris shall be disposed within the colony at a designated place for further disposal.
j) Contractor shall follow strictly Department Security regulations while movement and working of labourers/contractor's personal at department Residential colonies/office premises.
k) Police Verification Certificate shall be obtained for contractor's Engineers & Supervisor and submitted to EIC.
l) The supervisor of the contractor having photo pass can bring daily wages workers / casual workers inside Anushaktinagar/other department premises for work and comply all the security formalities for entry of labours.
m) The contractor shall depute technical supervision manpower as per tender condition throughout the contract.
n) Wherever materials are replaced with new one, quoted rates includes removing existing one, transporting and depositing the serviceable material at Departmental store and disposing off debris at directed place within colony.
o) The Agency shall take care of existing service lines and other Departmental properties while carrying out job & if any damage is done, agency shall get it repaired on his own cost.
p) Contractor shall take contractor's all risk insurance policy in respect of entire scope of work for entire period of contract and submit copy of the same before commencement of the work. "If there is a gap in CAR insurance policy period a penalty of 1.5 times of the premium amount of original policy value shall be recovered, proportionately for the gap period"
